Jesus was not betrayed by Judas. The Great Deception of Rome. The Romans killed Jesus, then the Roman criminals told us their contradictory versions about the murder of Jesus, and as always, they did it by demonizing the Jews, demonizing Jesus’ coreligionists.

Jesus was not betrayed, we were betrayed, but I did the sin of defending that lie, but I didn’t know that was a lie. So this is my penance to get forgiveness for that sin.
Jesus was not betrayed by Judas. The Great Deception of Rome.
The Romans killed Jesus, then the Roman criminals told us their contradictory versions about the murder of Jesus, and as always, they did it by demonizing the Jews, demonizing Jesus’ coreligionists:
Version 1:
Matthew 26:47 While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a large crowd with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people. 48 And he who betrayed him had given them a sign, saying, “The one I kiss is the one; arrest him.” 49 And he came to Jesus immediately and said, “Hail, Rabbi!” and kissed him. 50 And Jesus said to him, “Friend, why have you come?” Then they came and seized Jesus and arrested him.
Version 2:
John 18:2 Now Judas, who betrayed him, knew that place, for Jesus had often met there with his disciples. 3 Judas therefore took a company of soldiers and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees and went there with lanterns and torches and weapons. 4 But Jesus, knowing all things that were going to happen to him, came forward and said to them, “Whom do you seek?” 5 They answered, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them, “I am.” And Judas, the one who betrayed him, was also with them.
A judge asks them: How can it be that both versions are true? If Jesus identified himself, then Judas did not identify him. If Judas identified him, then Jesus did not identify himself.

An accomplice of the criminals answers:
The good teacher said, “Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
John 20:29 Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, Thomas, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
The judge answered: A good teacher cannot be a friend of ignorance but a friend of knowledge, therefore he could not have said that. Furthermore, a faith without evidence is the desire of slanderers and murderers in their attempt to have their lies believed and to be saved, but we are not here to please slanderers or criminals, but justice and the innocent, for this is the fair judgment that you have feared!
The accomplice answers:
Perhaps we do not remember the details well, but what is certain is that Jesus was betrayed because that is what was written about him in the Psalms.
Version 3:
John 18:10 Jesus said to him, He who is washed does not need to wash his feet except to wash, for he is clean all over; and you are clean, though not all of you. 11 For he knew who was going to betray him; that is why he said, You are not all clean. 18 I am not speaking of all of you; I know whom I have chosen, but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
Psalm 41:4 I said, Jehovah, have mercy on me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against thee. 5 My enemies speak evil of me, saying, When shall he die, and his name perish? 6 And when they come to see me, they speak lies; Their heart gathereth iniquity unto themselves, And when they go out they make it known. 7 All that hate me murmur against me together; They think evil against me, saying of me,
8 A pestilential thing hath taken hold of him;
And he that is bedridden shall not rise again.
9 Even my familiar friend, in whom I trusted, he that ate my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
Then the judge answereth him, Do ye take me for a fool? You three have been found to be false witnesses:
Psalm 41:4-13 says that the man who was betrayed by the one who ate his bread has sinned, but God raises him up to take revenge on his enemy, but 1 Peter 2:22-23 says that Jesus never sinned, nor did He take revenge on his enemies. However, John 13:18 says that the prophecy of betrayal in Psalm 41:9 was fulfilled in Jesus being betrayed by Judas: John 13:18 I am not speaking of all of you; I know whom I have chosen. But the Scripture must be fulfilled: “He who eats bread with me has lifted up his foot against me.” This is contradictory, another proof that you have given false testimony.
You have murdered a man on the cross by letting the sun dry his body because you have worshipped the sun, sacrificing innocent victims to it, just as other sun-worshipping people have done!

Psalms 22:16 For dogs have surrounded me; A company of evildoers has encircled me; They have pierced my hands and my feet. 17 I can count all my bones; Meanwhile, they look at me and observe me. 18 They have divided my garments among them, And for my clothing they have cast lots.
Guards, lead these worshipers of the sun god to their doom! They have made a pact with death and have been in the service of lies.
