Pope Francis stated in 2019 that God loves all men, ‘even the worst.’ But if you read Psalm 5:5 and Psalm 11:5, you will see that those texts clearly say that God hates the wicked. Why does 1 Peter 3:18 claim that the righteous died for the wicked, if Proverbs 29:27 says that the righteous hate the wicked?
